What Causes Chronic Migraines With Dizziness And Headaches?

I am a 41 yr old female who is currently being treated for chronic migraines. Yesterday I had an odd episode where I felt a migraine coming, but in addition, I started to have trouble keeping my eyes open. Initially I thought that it was due to light sensitivity, however, the difficulty in keeping my eyes open became pretty severe. I left work early due to the migraine, and while driving, I was having trouble seeing, and kept having to force my eyes to stay open. It was as if I were falling asleep while driving, but I wasnt tired. Once I made it home, I slept most of the day. Now today, I am experiencing dizziness and a slight headache. I am unsure as to whether this is still migraine related.
