I have had a cough that has lasted two months. It is not bad at night but during the day is horrible. I do not cough up anything and have coughing attack that causes body pain. The main concern is a tickle in the throat/chest. Fans and cool air also are a big irritant. I have taken allergy pills, antibiotics, cough medicine, gastric reflux pills, and the only short bit of relief for a minute or two is vaporub under the nose.
