Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
A month now I[ve had much plym and dryness in my throat which I cough at night when I lay down. chills and fatigue sleeping all of the time. weakness and back pain The plym blocks my ears and nose at night and its terrible. cant use my cpac due to the coughing. sweats at times. im on a lot of meds for mh afib and three thypes of insulin for diabetes do I have pnemonia ?
I am so sorry about these symptoms that you have reported. This is not very suggestive of pneumonia. The fact that this cough only comes on when you lay down raises the suspicion of a possible heart problem. However, heart problems would not cause a fever. What are your usual temperatures during these crisis? Your symptoms do not point to a specific and clear diagnostic option and more information is required in order to be able to do so and propose a treatment plan. Get an appointment and meet with your treating physician to look into this.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more clarifications and information if need be.
