For the last 3 months every time I start my cycle I get cold chills, headache and very tired so tired that all I want to do is sleep. I also get a very severe pain under my right rib cage if I roll over to my left side it hurts so bad that I can t even move. Not to mention it only lasts for about 2 or 3 days but now my cycle last for 2 weeks. I m scared and don t know what to.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

Feeling chills, headache, tired and sleepy before your monthly cycle are due to hormonal changes.

The pain you feel on right side under rib cage is due to ovulation.

As your cycle is lasting for 2 weeks now, then this is indicating hormonal issues.

Get an immediate appointment with your gynecologist and run hormonal tests to evaluate your condition further.

Keep well hydrated meanwhile and do not skip your meals.

Hope this helps.
