What Causes Chest Tightness With Sneezing And Breathlessness?

I have been having a odd tightness in my chest for the past month or so, it seems to get worse whenever I sneeze, and seems to get progressively worse over time. Its almost as if I cannot catch my full breath, like my lungs aren't reaching full capacity. I have never smoked, and do not drink.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of asthma or bronchitis is more likely.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT will not only diagnose disease but it will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity only.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) (budesonide or fluticasone).
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
