What Causes Chest Pains After Gallbladder Removal?

Hi, I had my gallbladder removed last week. I have been having chest pains ever since. after getting dressed this morning I had it. and yesterday I tried going to work (I m a teacher) and I had chest pains all day and was really exhausted. Could the chest pain be related to the surgery?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Chest pain can be due to any structure in the chest from the skin inwards.

The surgery should not cause chest pain because there should have been no trauma to the chest but your should speak to your surgeon for clarification.

Chest pain can result from the issues with the skin, muscles and adjacent soft tissue, bones (sternum and ribs), heart, lungs, esophagus.
It can also occur due to anxiety.

If the pain continues or worsens, it would be best to see your doctor for an assessment to determine the cause.

I hope this helps
