What Causes Chest Pain?
i have been feeling a tightness and a little pain in my left chest area for approx the last 18hrs. i also feel pain in my left shoulder and left side of my back when a stretch or work the arm. the pain is not constant it comes and goes. these are symptoms of a heart attack, but i'm hoping its gas.

Chest pain with tightness need proper evaluation.
It may be due to coronary heart disease,reflux etc.
You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,liver function test,renal function test,lipid profile,urine RE/ME,ultrasound of abdomen,TMT,ECG in all leads,ECHO.
Angiography can be done after evaluation.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
