What Causes Chest Pain Post A Breast Cancer Surgery?

I m 52 year old women 2 years from breast cancer surgery and 1 year from radiation . I ve been experiencing pain in my chest periodically an it hurts more to take deep breaths but can get in a position where it stops completely. Front an back. My pressure is always on the low side my EKG last year was normal. I stopped taking anxiety meds a year ago and only take Arumidex vitamin D. Is this something that may have to do with my breast cancer?.. Is this type of pain always require medical attention if it quits after about an hour?

Hello,

Basically, it is a neurological pain a regular occurrence after surgery and radiation. Sometimes may be due to the bone. As you are taking vitamin D so nothing needed for bone. You can start Gabapentine for nerves.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. B.dinesh
