What Causes Chest Pain Despite Normal ECG And Echo?
I am 29 years old, 60 Kgs. Frequently i am getting chest pain. I took ECG and Echo. It was came out as normal. I had 150/100 BP while taking ECG. Doctor has given me Pantacid tablet for 5 days. but still i have not recovered from the chest pain. I got pain in left side of chest.
As cardiac investigations are normal,so chest pain may be due to other reasons like pulmonary or musculoskeletal reasons. Chest-Ray (PA view)should be take to exclude any pulmonary cause. If chest X-ray findings are normal then you can also take muscle relaxants and analgesics for 4-5 days. You should avoid strenuous activity.
Hope I have answered your question. Take Care Dr.Indu Bhushan
