What Causes Chest Pain And Tightness?

hi i had a toothache for about 6-8 weeks with severe migraines, jaw pain, and earache...i held off thinking that i was clenching my teeth. i went to the dentist and had a root canal. the dentist did say that the infection went into my jawbone and i am currently on amoxicillion. my concern is that i am having chest tightness and an ache. i did have a holter done and that came back good other than at nighttime between 11pm and 7 am i had a bout 19 wencheback episodes and had an ekg that showed low voltage qrs...the holter also showed that i have 2nd degree av block type 1...should i go in

well, this can be a serious issue. You had a root canal of an infected tooth and then chest tightness.....May be you had a subacute endocarditis with some myocarditis leading to thsi first degree heart block. Mobitz type 1, they don't go directly for pacemakers unless syncope and all....So it's time that you go to the hospital, get three blood cultures and an echocardiogram. Then we can take it from there.
