What Causes Chest Pain And Discomfort After Drinking Soda?

I drank a glass of Pepsi real quick and it felt like something was stuck in my esophagus now my chest hurts wen I drink or eat anything it Hurts wen I swallow and the the food is going down. What could the be I took tums they didn t work. It been two days and still not better. Thank you

Stomach acid added to the acid inside the soda, cause irritation of the esophagus (food pipe) and lead to symptoms which you are facing.

Take syrup Gaviscon and Omeprazole 40 mg twice before meals for 5 days. If don't not get better, consult a gastroenterologist.
