I just had an endoscopic treatment that revealed I had a curved esophagus. My doctor did straighten it up however I was too drowsy too ask what may have caused it in the first place. Also, I used to feel as if someone was squeezing a fist in my chest after eating certain foods. Could this have anything to do with a curved esophagus? Now that its corrected, do you think it will eliminate this problem. I noticed feeling this way more after eating certain foods like terra vegetable chips which I no longer eat.
