What Causes Chest Discomfort, Dizziness And Breathlessness?

For the past week i have been having fluttering in my chest off and on usually in the morning but now it is throughout the day. My heart beat seems normal, than I get this one off beat and it seems as though it's coming from the center of my chest not the left side just the center, and then I usually cough. It's not a dry cough but a mucus type cough. After the cough I feel tired and somewhat dizzy. I have also been sneezing more than usual. Along with the sneezing there is a runny nose and the feeling that i'm not getting enough air in my lungs, I have been quite stuffy also. I am a 42 year old and female.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, we should first rule out arrhythmia (rhythm disturbances in heart) because your symptoms like Fluttering feeling in central chest, missed beat, dizziness etc are common symptoms of arrhythmia.
So better to consult cardiologist and get done ecg, 2d echo and Holter monitoring (24 hours continuous recording of ecg).
You may need anti arrhythmia drugs too.
Your runny nose and stuffiness is mostly due to viral rhinitis.
So do steam inhalation 4-5 times a day. Take antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
Don't worry, you will be alright. But first rule out arrhythmia.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
