What Causes Chest Discomfort And Fainting After Drinking Water?

Occasionally I will take a drink of water and it sticks in my chest. I go totally unconscious momentarily and have difficulty regaining my composure. This in a milder form has happened for several years but each episode is worse. Today I was really scared. My email is YYYY@YYYY . I am 65.

Seems most likely to be psychosomatic manifestation of some hidden threat in subconscious mind. I would strongly recommend to consult an expert psychiatrist and get rid of it on permanent basis.
