General Surgeon 's  Response
If the endoscopic examination has been done within 6 hours of your haveng taken food, doctor will find food in the stomach. If you have not eaten since the day before, then food in the stomach could be due to an obstruction, which the Gastroenterologist will be able to diagnose during the upper GI endoscopy. Airborne gluten could not have caused this.
