I was told by my doctor that I might I calcium build up in my ear reason I say that I have been feeling very dizzyy for a couple of months, it happens when I lye down, sitting or even standing and it only last for a few seconds but without sickness. So my question is how does calcium get into the ear and is it serious? My doctor is sending me to a nose and throat specialist to reposition my head to see if they can get the calcium out but she did say they do not use instruments.
Hello. What your doctor thought you have ,is BPPV. You can check in google what it is. You do not need any instrument to fix it. Your ENT doctor is going to do some special movements of your body, thats all.
Wish you all the best...
