What Causes Burping And Pains Despite Surgery?

Hi, I had lap band with plication surgery on the 20th, the gas pains are worst then the actual surgery. I m still having a lot of burping and that would be ok but the pain with the burping now goes to my neck and worst my ears is this still gas from surgery?

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of Lap banding with gastric plication, gas pains getting worst then they were before surgery, there is lots of burping and the pain now goes to neck and ears.
This pain is most probably due to the referred pain from the bad throat that has occurred due to GERD that is the acid reflux.
I would advise you the following:
Take a PPI and an antacid every three hours and a gastric motility regulator.
Consult your operating surgeon and follow his advise.
You may need barium studies and upper GI endoscopy too .
