What Causes Burning Sensation In Throat After Thyroidectomy?

I have a severe burning throat that has appeared after a partial thyroidectomy four months ago.My esophagus flares up ane recedes after steroids but returns a week later.I have been to ent and endo docs with no explanation of cause I now have to thinkk I am having thyroid burning and pain.I have taken Motrin and tylenol different times and it still flares up.I am taking 75mcg of SYNTHROID DAILY WAY BEFORE i EAT OR DRINK.My Endocrinologist seems to be not worried.My blood test appears normal.Help!!

The causes of burning in esophagus after thyroidectomy may be related to the stress and anxiety that you must have gone through before, during and after surgery causing GERD.
Take the proper diet, with no spicy no hot foods.
Ranitidin
Domperidone to regularise motility
Antacid gel every the hours.
Proper 8 hours sleep
Early dinner.
Small frequent meals.
Check thyroid functions again to getva proper dose adjustments
You will be fine.
Review endoscopy to see the progress.
