Why is my right eye ball burning? Especially when I am reading. I have been diagnosed with glaucoma and have had caterrack surgery. I also have a stint in my eye balls and plugs. I have had laser at least four times. I saw my eye doctor on Thursday and my eye pressures were 16 and 20. The 20 is the left eye that started burning. My doctor is off on the weekends or I would call him. He wants me to use Betimol but I am concerned because I have one lung and I have had bad allergies for the last 2 months and have been breathless often. I was warned that Betimol could cause breathlessness so I have not started it. Now I have this pain in my eye and I am wondering if I should go to emergency if it is serious.
your eye pressure is normal may be you are having dry eye for which you may apply refresh eye tear drop. consult pulmunologist for complete examination of lung fields if he recomand breathmol then there is bronchospasm and you can use it. you can use bronchodyl or tab deriphylin.you have to use bronchodialater.
