What Causes Burning Sensation In Chest, Headache And Cough?

Hi I am a 28 year old female, I dont smoke or drink alcohol to excess and my height and weight are in the recommended BMI index. I have nearly completly lost my voice and I have a tight burning pain in the middle of my chest, along with a headache and cough should I go to my GP or would I be wasting their time. Thanks.

Hi thanks for contacting health care magic.

According to your complaint you have lost your voice..
So you should examine your larynx by direct or indirect laryngoscopy...
It could be laryngitis if inflammation...
If growth seen biopsy needed...

But mostly you will have laryngitis.
Steam inhalation useful....
Decongestent can be taken...

If needed short term steroid course given for inflammation relief...
Suitable antibiotic like amoxicillin needed
Take care.......
