What Causes Burning Sensation During Urination?
A little over a week ago I started having a burning during urination. So I increased my water intake and added cranberry juice to my diet also. The burning eased but the itching increased tremendously over the next week. Today I noticed that it was painful on the right side of my vaginia to sit down or walk. After self examination I observed the whole right side of vaginia is swollen (back to anus) with what appears to be two or three large knots under the skin. I ve had no smell or thickening of vaginal discharge but I have had a slight watery red deposit on toilet paper after wiping. Please advise.

Dear- thanks for using our service and will try to help you with my medical advise. You might be suffering from bacterial vaginosis which is caused by Trichomona vaginalis, a parasite that can create swollen vagina. It also produces some watery discharge and the vagina can have a reddish color named strawberry vagina. You should have a gynecological evaluation and treatment with Flagyl for 7-10 days. You should ask your sexual partner if symptomatic too, because both should be treated. I hope that my advise has been helpful.
