General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. My suggestion is to go for eye check up with optometrist for your eye sight and pressure. Sometimes increased in eye pressure or eye sight can also be the cause. Look for factors that contribute to increase in severity of pain like busy work hours, eye strain and associated symptoms like nausea, dry eyes, redness in eye. Get your routine full body health check up done and not to forget your thyroid profile (thyroid hormone imbalance also affects eye tissue). M.R.I of head is required only if consulting physician advice you after reviewing your routine health check up reports. Good luck. Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
