What Causes Burning Sensation And Pain In Clitoris?

I am having pain on my clitoris and the skin around it, including the inner side of my labia. I just started feeling this pain tonight and it occurs when the area is touched and is a sort of burning, stinging pain. There is no pain around my urethra or vagina. There are no bumps or anything, but possibly a little redness in that area. I haven t had any sexual activity lately but I am taking antibiotics currently; could this pain be from infection or irritation from the antibiotics?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely yeast infection. Yeast infection can occur secondary to antibiotic therapy. A swab test will be helpful to rule out this. For such condition in my patients i would recommend using clotrimazole cream for local application. Avoid soaps anfd irritants to wash the genital area and instead you can use saline or warm water. Using intimate wash is also good.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
