What Causes Burning Pain In Sinus Area?

I took my meds this AM and had a backward sneeze at the same time I was swallowing. Next thing I have burning pain in my sinus area and in the upper soft pallate of my mouth. Now I have what feels like an earach and sore throat. The burning sensation last 3 hours even after I used a Nettie pot to cleanse the sinus cavity in case I had snorted a pill in it?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood you problems.
The entry of any other material in the nasal cavity can cause too much of a irritation and the burning sensation in the area you explained, reflex spasm of the naso-pharyngeal area caused Eustachian Tubes to open or go into spam and caused you hte earache. and sore throat.
You have already done neti.
It looks you had a reflux like one gets in GERD

I would advise you to take PPI, Domperidone, Analgesic antacid like Mucaine gel and the condition will recover on its own.
Do not push through the treatment, that will cause more problems.
