What Causes Burning Around The Penis?

I was searching for images ... I have a burning around my penis .. it resulted from doing stuff to myself .. I thought it was like a rope burn kind of thing but then searching on the internet I wasn't sure if I had a real problem ... examining my penis head there was a white bump. That after I played with it popped off. I have diabetes and I am married but I have not had sex with anyone except my wife in 10 years and we dont have sex very often. I know that she has herpes in her mouth but it hadn't been apparent .. I have been working from home and I haven't been showering every day .. I found information on herpes but also on this thing called balantis. Trying to figure out what to do

Hello.
With your history of Diabetes it is most likely Balanitis. I suggest you see a Surgeon who can examine you. without examining it is very difficult to say what it is. There could be super added infection over the Balanitis. Only after examining can anyone advice the treatment.
Do not worry and see a Surgeon whenever possible. Meanwhile keep it clean by washing with soap and water twice a day and wiping it clean. Dont leave it wet for long as that may cause progression of fungal infection.
