What Causes Burning And Tingling Pain In Throat?

Pain started with burning on right side neck and thought it was a sunburn or allergy to cream or makeup. Now pain and burning is inside throat. Sometimes I feel it on the left side as well but mostly on right, inside and outside. My lip tingles sometimes and I have pressure in right ear, sometimes in left. I have two white dots on left side of back throat and what appears to be a black spot (well hidden) on right side.Primary doc took swabs and findings for strep were negative. RX for Lidocaine swallowed or else to gargle with warm salt water. No relief from either one. Problem swallowing is not a factor. Burning, tingling and pain is a factor and feeling of feverishness although my temp is normal.

You did not mention the duration of your complaint. You need an examination by ENT doctor. From your history it seems that the white spots are on tonsil which may be due to debris collection in the crypts. But after examination only the cause and line of treatment can be ascertained.
