I developed a rash in my pubic area , it is on my body in the hair region. I have not shaved recently, but have had unprotected sex, but everything on my penis looks normal. It looks like flat red bumps, with some of the bumps being raised and having a white head , looking like a zit..

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. If in hair beds it can be due to folliculitis which is bacterial infection of hair beds. Genital herpes gives burning sensation or pain and itching. If you send a picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying. In case of folliculitis antibiotic therapy will be needed. I would suggest antibiotic like Azithromycin and betadine ointment for local application in such case.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
