Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bumps behind the ear which is due to lymphadenopathy means inflammation of lymph nodes i.e post auricular lymph nodes. As your bumps are tender to touch.

For now give warm compresses and take take ibuprofen (if not allergic) or paracetamol.

I would suggest you to consult doctor or surgeon for proper evaluation and treatment .

Doctor may order blood test lymph node biopsy ,chest X-ray or do physical examination.

Doctor may prescribe antibiotics for infection along with other medication depending upon the results .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
