I just found a small bump on my lower inner lip of vagina. I tried to pop it with a needle because I thought it might have an ingrown hair in it but it just had blood coming out and is still hard. What do you think it is? there s only one so I don t think its herpes

Cysts are common and can occur anywhere on the body. In the vulva (the area near the vagina) they often arise from a blocked skin gland. They often look like pimples or lumps under the skin. If fairly large or uncomfortable, it can be incised and drained by a doctor. Squeezing them on your own is NOT a good idea as it can cause the introduction of bacteria and cause infection. A few common genital cysts in women include: - See more at: Skene's duct cysts..Bartholin cysts.Genital herpes, Molluscum contagiosum. Skin tags
