What Causes Bump On Crease Between Vagina And Thigh?

hi so I have this tiny water droplet sized bump between the crease of my thigh and my vagina on the right side and its slightly raised. It looks as if its almost a mosquito bite but not. I was just self inspecting myself and noticed it. Its not causing any pain I just want to make sure I shouldn t be concerned or anything!

Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

I will keep a possibility of start of a fungal infection.
The area involved and absence of pain are points in favor of fungal infection.
Fungal infections are usually itchy but since the lesion is still very small to begin with, therefore, itching is not expected to be a prominent symptom as yet.
Fungal infections are quite common in skin folds like those of groins, axilla, submammary area etc.
The anatomy of folds is such that it favors fungal growth due to the warm humid environment that prevails in folds.
I suggest you to use an OTC topical antifungal e.g clotrimazole 1% cream, twice daily for 2-4 weeks.
If the lesion does not respond as expected Or increases you may visit a dermatologist for a review.

Regards
