What Causes Bump In The Lip?

I have a bump on my bottom lip , I woke up with it it s da sme colour as my lips , I popped it one n a clear fluid come out but the spot/bump remains the same size , I also have small little spots on the inside of my bottom lip which I also woke up with morning , wanted to know what itis how it was caused and what could I do to prevent it.

Bump over lip with clear liquid is due to mucocele.

It occurs due to blockage of glands on lip.

Lip biting is one of the frequent cause for it.

In most cases mucocele resolves completly without any treatment.However if it persists ,it needs surgical excision.
