That night, she had several bouts of diarrhea and noticed the dark red color but thought that was due to the beats. In the middle of the night he had a huge bout of vomiting and clearly it was dark red blood. She was admitted to the hospital. An endoscopy was done and they found that 2-3 veins in the abdomen were bruised. Is this serious? What are your thoughts?
