What Causes Bruising And Swelling In Hands?

The top of my hand and half way up my middle finger, all of a sudden became bruised and swollen. I did not injure it that I remember. On closer inspection, I found two small brown specks between my middle and ring finger. I pulled them out and they look like slivers or even stingers. I was laying out in the sun about an hour before this. Could this be a bee sting or insect bite that could cause this bruising and swelling? I took two Benadryl and ibiprofurin. Never felt any sting! Thank you

Hello,
In my opinion the symptoms you exhibit are synchronous to a bee sting. Its possible to be unaware of the sting for sometime before pain manifests. If I were your treating doctor I would advise you to keep ice on your fingers.
Hope I have answered all your queries. If you have any other question I would be happy to help. Thank you.
