What Causes Bruises And Itching On Areola With A Painful Lump Underneath?
I have had an issue with my left breast. The areola bruises and begins itching in one section throughout the last year. There is also a painful lump underthat section that ends up growing and causing my entire upper breast to turn red and sore. I have been on 4 antibotics that help take it down but never makes the lump competely go away, it continues to come back. What could cause this?

It is mostly due to some sort of fungal infection for which you can take some antibiotic like cefadroxyl or doxycycline after an expert opinion along with avil or cetrizine for itching. You can use betnovate-c or clobit-gm cream for local application. Take fluconazole 150 once daily at night for at-least 5 days. Take pain killer for severe pain and inflamation. Maintain the hygiene of your body.
