I had an endoscopy on Wednesday, I had sedation and throat spray, I was very anxious and stressed and gagged a lot during my time in recovery bruising appeared around both eyes looking like panda eyes, it also made my forehead very red and my face looked swollen. My doctor at the hospital admitted me as they thought I might have a bleed on the brain, I had a brain scan which ruled this out but did show up adnormalities around the eyes, I had a chest xray, and blood tests which were normal, the medical staff thought it was very rare and took photos of my eyes, I am home now and the swelling has gone down a little, nobody had a name for it but I think capillaries burst due to me wretching, what do you think.
