OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Brown spotting during the time of periods can be due to implantation bleeding or could be due hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism.
I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done and if negative, then do consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined and investigated, and treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
