What Causes Brown Vomiting?
my father has been sick and not keepinhg anything but porridge down for nearly 4 weeks the vomit is now brown and has what looks like pale pieces of bacon- which he hasnt eaten! i think its his stomach lining but its a while before he has app for camera down his throat ...can /should i take him to a and e as i feel he will be admitted eventually but t by the he will be so dehydrated ....!

Appreciate your query, underlying cause of vomiting is matter of concern rather than the appearance of vomiting because appearance of vomiting material is due to the abdomen contained and it is the diet taken, once the food gone in the it start changing in all the manner like look consistency and of course odor, still if the vomiting contained creates the doubts then it can be sent for lab test.
It is really good thought to take him to hospital.
