Hello,
Thank you for your query.
Trenexa mf is used to control heavy bleeding.
Spotting around the time you mentioned and your description of it could be an
implantation bleed.
This usually last only for a very short period (a day at the maximum) and doesn't need a sanitary napkin.
If, however, it lasted more and blood has become bright red, it is more likely that your period is on it way.
Are you on any
progesterone supplements?
I recommend :
-stop the Trenexa mf
-if you don't get you normal period by your due date or within 5 days from the due date, take a
pregnancy test.
-consult your doctor with results either way.
Sometimes stress and medications can cause hormonal imbalance and irregular menstrual cycles.
I am so sorry that you are going through this. I completely understand the frustration involved and the
depression you feel.
Please don't lose hope. Get a
second opinion. Ask around for a well known
fertility specialist with good outcomes. Make sure they are doing their best to help you.
Ideally, you should have your hormone levels checked and a scan done on day 3of your cycle.
It could either be a natural cycle (no medications for ovulation and follicle growth) or you may be given medications to help you produce more eggs and improve chances of pregnancy.
Regular scans to check for follicular growth, ovulation must be done. Iui is timed around 36 to 40 hours after a natural LH (leutenizing hormone) surge in a natural cycle or after a shot of HCG (
human chorionic gonadotropin) in a medicated cycle.
This is followed by progesterone supplements for 2 weeks after Iui.
Variations are there but this is the basic procedure.
Hope this helps and you conceive soon. My prayers are with you.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
