What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge After Taking And Emergency Contraceptive Pill?

Hi this is slightly urgent. My fiance and i had protected sex a week after my periods ended. However just to be sure i took ECP two days later since i wasn t too sure if he pre ejaculated. A week after taking the ECP i got my periods but now a week after they ended, i see brown stringy discharge. What could it mean? I am super nervous

Hi, I think it can be due to side effect of emergency pill. Sometimes you can get your periods again in few days after the withdrawal bleeding. So, you may get your periods in few days. Other thing is discharge can be due to some infections. If it persists for few days or is associated with pain, get yourself evaluated by a gynecologist. You can do a urine pregnancy test at home to rule out pregnancy, but is very unlikely.
