What Causes Brown Urine After Taking Expired Amoxicillin?
Hello,my husband had a absessd tooth a few days ago,so my daughter in law gave him a old bottle of children s liquid amaxoillicin ,plus 4 out of date amaxocillin pills and 6 or 8 penicillin pills also out of date. He now has brown urin? What is wrong?

Brown colour Urine could be from hemoglobinuria
Here he might be suffering from hemolysis secondary to drug induced or other cause
Drug expiry should be checked first and after getting doctor prescription only antibiotic consumed
Here peripheral smear examination, reticulocyte counting and urine examination done as primary work up
