What Causes Brown Spotting In Pregnancy?

i had my last periods on 6 june.Then on 6 july i did not get periods and checked that i was pregnant by urine test at home,WEnt to see the doctor and she made my hcg test,I was positive but had some brown spotting since 5 july.Again my hcg ws tested after one day and it doubled,,,the doctor gave me gregest tablet and told me to rest for a weak and come gain with my ultrasound report whereas in my previous report nothing was seen in my utereus,i had a hetertropic pregnancy one year back and a misscarriage two years back,,,was put on ATT for 9 months,,with tb in my endometrium,,Please give me guidance as there is smthing to worry or can it be ok

Hi, thanks for writing.. I understand your concern..
Implantation bleed occurs in and around the expected period which is quite normal. If there is ongoing bleeding and pain abdomen, then you need to worry. Since you have doubling of hcg, it means the it is a healthy growing pregnancy mostly in the uterus. At around 4-5 weeks, it is difficult to see an intrauterine sac. So get a scan repeated after 2 weeks to see for fetal pole and cardiac activity. Since you were treated for TB you need not worry about that too. Hope I have answered your query. Good day..
