What Causes Brown Spotting Before Periods With History Of Leep Procedure Done For Cervix?
Hi. Just wondering as to why i am getting a brown/fake peroid before my regular cycle is due.Its not due for another week or so and i am getting a bit of spotting.
I have had problems in the past with my cervix and had a leep procedure done to make sure there were no abnormailites.
I have been on the pill for nearly10 years now.
Its really annoying to have this nearly everymonth now for 3 months.
Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM Dear as per your information provided i must inform you that the loop electrosurgical excision procedure (leep) is done following an abnormal Pap smear most of the time . This procedure thus removes that ultra bit of the abnormal tissue. And obviously it has its complications as you have mentioned. That could be spotting .What you describing as brownish discharge could be due to some infection . Since you have described that you also on pills for the past 10 years , that also drawback of intermenstrual spotting. So go to your gynoe and she will see if further investigation need to be done and decide the course of management Till then dont worry Take care
