Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Jyothi B L's Response
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. It appears your colonic bacteria is changed leading onto increased gas formation, which is causing lower abdominal pain along with overactive bowel sounds. 2. This could have caused hypermotility resulting in brown colored mucus. 3. Due to straining, rectal mucosal rupture might have occurred, which has resulted in rectal pain and radiating pelvic pain. 4. This pain and stress has caused possible gastritis. You need to take probiotics and yogurt. For gastritis, antacids should be helpful. Take meals at regular intervals and have adequate hydration. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again
