What Causes Bright Red Line And Pain In Lower Back?

I have been having back pain the last few days. It is a nerve in the side of my lower back on the left hand side. When I walk I can feel pain in the front. Tonight the back pain is not in the side it is just in the lower back right on the spine and tonight I noticed I have a bright red line gong down my spine. When I walk I still feel pain in the front and back.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to hcm,

It's difficult to diagnose without examining, Based on your symptoms just wanted to know is there any history of injury or your symptoms is associated with fever and if you have any previous history of chicken pox. I advise you to consult a doctor if your pain increase along with fever and rashes over the pain site to rule out herpes zoster.

Thank you
