HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, looking to your medical conditions, as long as the brain shunt is concern it get block after the few days of placement and now not need to think about this, now for the swelling and breathing difficulties better to control the blood pressure and it is advisable to get done the ECHO test, chances of congestive cardiac disease need to be ruled out, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
