General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello!

It is important to evaluate this further by getting a CAT scan of the chest to look for any underlying lesions. Other habits like smoking, tobacco , using recreational drugs and alcohol have to be avoided. Prominent hilar and bronchovascular markings could indicate the presence of an infection or other interstitial lung disease. EKG along with 2D echo would be needed to make sure there are no other cardiac issues. Blood pressure and blood sugar levels have to be made a note of along with thyroid hormone abmormalities if relevant to age and gender. Please come back in case of any further queries.
