hi! there is actually a variety of diseases when we say endocrine disorder. in your case, since you do not mention of a specific endocrine disease but let me site some causes of pulmonary problems resulting to difficulty in breathing in patients with endocrine disorder. let me say for example: patients with hypothyroidism there can be reduction of the central respiratory drive, or obstruction or the upper airway that can cause restrictive lung function which results to decrease in lung volume and further results to difficulty in breathing. there are also patients with hyperthyroidism who presents with difficulty in breathing, and ghis could be due to thyrotoxicosis which lattern on increases the central respiratory drive. and aside from that it can cause cardiac dysfunction resulting to pulmonary edema then difficulty of breathing manifest. i would suggest you need to consult a pulmonologist for your lung evaluation and an endocrinologist for a doctor to take care of your endocrine problems.
