What Causes Body Pain With Headache After Pregnancy?

I had my baby eleven days ago. It wa a quick normal birth and my baby boy is nursing and doing well, but my body has become very achey a d sensitive to the touch. Ibuibuprofin doesn t,t touch it. What could cause this. I have a headache as well but no other symptoms. Thanks. Em

Hi Em, I have gone through your question. Headache in post delivery period can be due to altered sleep cycle with waking up with baby at odd hours, decreased water intake or any other neurological cause. Numbness and hypersensitivity to touch can be due to vitamin B12 deficiency which is common in pregnancy and post- delivery period.
I would suggest you to consult a neurologist, take plenty of fluids, take rest whenever baby sleeps, and take multivitamins.
