What Causes Body Chills And Headache Along With A Lump On The Back?

Male age 64 had shingles in 2014. Right side of back in a line around to chest. This is an odd thing he has now but at the beginning he said it felt like he felt when shingles started in 2014. He had severe chills on Tuesday which continued Wednesday and then added a bad headache. All day Wednesday and Thursday he had aches chills headache and felt like he had the flu. Thursday night he developed a lump on the right upper quadrant of his back which was very painful. Used ice and ibuprofen. This continued all day Friday. Friday evening the pain lessened in the back and the lump went away. Then his right arm begin to hurt radiating out from the elbow. He said it feel like muscle pain but is very severe. He is usually very stoic so this is unusual. He is staying pretty still either in a reclining chair or on the bed. There is no rash
