What Causes Body Aches With Dry Cough, sneezing And Headaches?

I have had cold like symptoms x 6 days. green/yellow discharge, sore throat, general body aches, dry cough, sneezing, headache/sinus pressure but no noted fever. The most annoying symptom are my hot flashes/night sweats. Why am I getting those w/o a fever present? Also, hypoglycemic symptoms---so I've been eating more than usual.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to upper respiratory infection /sinusitis. Examination by ENT specialist or GP will be helpful to rule out and to manage this. Antibiotic therapy will e required in this case. I usually suggest broad spectrum antibiotics like Co-amoxiclav in such cases in my patients. Taking anti histamines like Zyrtec (cetirizine) , nasal decongestant sprays like xylometazoline (otrivin) and chewable vitamin C is good also.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
